October

October was a busy, fun-filled month for us. WARNING - lots of pictures!

Around the first of the month Ty and I took a trip to San Clemente, California for a mini vacation. It was beautiful. Ty's sister and her family live there and they were nice enough to let us stay with them. We ate lots of yummy food, did some shopping, went surfing, hit up Balboa Island for a day, relaxed in the sun, and spent time with Ty's family. We love So Cal!

I helped throw a baby shower for one of my good friends in Logan. The crazy thing is that 2 days before we were supposed to have the shower, my pregnant friend texted me and said we would have to post pone the party. I asked why and she notified me she had the baby that morning-1 month early! Both mom and baby were doing well and perfectly healthy so we postponed the shower to a couple weeks later. The fun part was, baby Dax got to attend the shower! He is such a cute little baby boy.

And last but not least, Halloween! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays-Ty on the other hand, doesn't love it very much. When we were dating in high school, I believe he was 17 and carved a pumpkin for the first time with me! So crazy.

This Halloween, my friend Jenny and I decided, with a little push from Dallin and Morgan, to throw a friends Halloween party. It ended up being so fun and we were so glad we did it! It was a beginning to a very fun tradition. Ty and I dressed up as Rizzo and Kinicky from Grease (as dressed up as Ty gets). Our friends had some great costumes-please check out baby Cora (dressed as Cotton Candy) - her mom is so creative and talented! We had yummy drinks, dinner, and played games-what a great night.

The night before the party I was in Logan with my family while Ty was writing a legal paper and Mason, my dad, and I decided to carve pumpkins. It was so much fun! The next morning we all went to Crimson Field (best setting for a high school football game) to watch the Logan High Grizzlies beat the Herriman Mustangs in the first round of the playoffs. It was a great game and we are so excited for my dad and his team.
