december & the holidays

We had a great December. Tyler finished his first semester of law school-he is so happy to be 1/6 the way done. We spent Christmas with my family in Millville. It is so fun to be home with all of my family-I hope Ty feels the same way. :) We played lots of games, ate lots of yummy food, and had a great time. It is always so fun to have little kids at Christmas-they just make it the best. We also spent some time with Tyler's family that lives in Logan-we had scones and orange julius-a Raymond Family tradition. The day after Christmas we went to Hardware Ranch and saw the elk. There was no snow-bummer- but we had fun & learned lots about the elk. At the end of the tour, the tour guide asked if we had any other questions & my nephew leaned to my brother and said, "Dad, ask her how old they have to be before they learn to fly". So sweet. We had a great Christmas.

For New Years (& I am terrible because I didn't take any pictures) we went to St. George to visit Tyler's parents. Ty went golfing and I got to relax, we had a great time. We ate at our favorite restaurant, Anasazi, and also tried out a local Thai restaurant on New Year's eve that was delicious.

Our December was great and we are looking forward to 2012!

Happy New Year!
